Great stocking fillers from ParamountZone: Reusable Heat Pads

I don’t know about you but I get cold really easily. With the wintery chills setting in and the walks home seeming to get longer, no amount of wool can make me feel warmer. That’s why I was super excited when I was sent a Reusable Heat Pad courtesy of Paramount Zone.

If you’ve not seen these heat packs before, they’re pretty awesome. They’re little bags of gel that has a metal coin inside. When you crack the coin, it creates a chemical reaction that crystallises the liquid, making it a hot solid. That in itself is a pretty awesome thing to watch. Once the pack is activated, the crystals stay hot for up to thirty minutes making that walk from the station a little more pleasant.

The Matfield versions are shaped like little hot water bottles and fit perfectly into your hand making them easy to slip into your pocket. The matt, soft outer layer makes it really comfortable to hold and is warm to the touch even before activating the pack. Each time I’ve used it, it’s stayed warm for at least 40 minutes with a lingering glow afterwards. Once they’re cool, all you have to do is pop them into some boiling water for a bit and they’re ready to use again.

These are perfect for stocking fillers, to keep in your car (just in case) or to just generally keep on you during the winter months. They’re only £2.99 each and I would recommend buying two because, you know, one warm hand will only make the other feel colder. I’m definitely getting some for my nan who stubbornly takes the bus everywhere, my mum who works outside all year round and me, because I’m pretty much cold all the time.

Head over to paramountzone.com now to check out some great, quirky, fun presents for this year’s festive season. I have another item coming up soon so watch this space.

Disclaimer: I was gifted this product for my fair, honest review. All opinions my own unless stated otherwise.

  1. I have something similar to this and I love it during the winter. This one is really cute though with it’s hot water bottle shape.
