Hello my friends! I hope you all had a glorious (though wet) weekend. Today I thought I’d do another Hot or Not post for you but once again, I’m going to give it a little twist. I was going to do a bit of a different Hot or Not due to a comment Moo made about Emma Stone, but I will leave that until next week. This week, it’s the battle of the Spider-Mans (both plurals sound wrong but this one is funnier). So, which Spider-Man was better taking in looks, acting, portrayal, likeness to the comic book etc? You decide?
Tobey Maguire
In 2002, Tobey Maguire swung onto our screens as Spider-Man much to the celebration and dismay of the comic book fans. Though a notable actor prior to the geeky trilogy, Spider-Man shot him into the public eye and he’s not really been seen since. I must admit, I do not like Tobey Maguire and I didn’t like him as Spider-Man, but that’s just me. I know many people who loved him and though he was perfect, so what are your thoughts?
Andrew Garfield
Last week, Andrew Garfield made his first appearance as the creepy crawly super hero and claimed a cinematic record. After some minor roles in cinema, this is Garfield’s biggest to date and will no doubt launch a massive Hollywood career for the English actor. Again, I don’t really like Garfield but I did prefer him as Spider-Man. This is obviously just my opinion, so what’s yours?
