Over the past couple of days something exploded over the Internet. I mentioned it briefly on Twitter but today I’ll just do a quick post about it. And if you haven’t heard about it yet, you’re going to thank me and hopefully get as excited as I am.
It’s fair to say that nail art has become a force to be reckoned with and it’s not going anywhere. But, most people don’t have the time and sometimes they don’t have the patience so quick fixes such as crackle polish, magnetic polish and even matte polish (I will be posting on that later) have been a godsend. But now there’s a new kid in town and it’s going to be a worldwide hit.
Ciate announced that they will be launching a Caviar range. The Caviar range will be the ultimate 3D manicure with tiny colour pearls that you apply over a Ciate Paint Pot. The teeny tiny balls are applied using a funnel and a tray (to catch the loose product), which means you, can do it at home! They launch in April and will be retailing at £18.
The range comes in three colours: Black, White and Multicolour.
I don’t know about you but the multicolour looks like sprinkles, the black looks like it should be on art deco jewellery and the white just looks clean and amazing (definitely my favourite).
I am really excited about this but it will definitely be a love or hate thing so which side of the fence are you sitting on?

Last week I’d never heard of these and now there everywhere! They’d definitely be ingesting to try I think, but they look like they would fall off really easily?
*intresting to try, not ingesting! Lol
That’s what I’m a bit nervous about but I think with a decent base it could work. I’ve seen a lot worse stick and stay =)
I can’t wait to get my hands on all 3!
I absolutely love the multi-coloured! I love textured nails, can’t wait to get these.
Not sure. It looks like someone ate a cupcake and forgot to wash. I think the texture would be irritating at first, for sure. But what do I know? I’m 40 and not “down with the kids”. My opinion is possibly not the general consensus.
I’m worried about the texture too but I think the white just looks so pretty. I think for a special night or something it’ll be, as you say, the icing on the cake. It’s a really fun, interesting idea compared to the usual quick fix nail art too. (I am worried that I’ll buy it and hate it… shush…)
Yes, but that’s why we have *you* to give us the honest reviews!
I think I’ll give it a pass…
This looks really pretty, but I know I sit there and start picking at the little balls after a few hours…
Haha, it’ll be like bubble wrap! If only they were edible huh!?
