My Christmas Beauty Box

Hello my lovelies! I hope you had a lovely Christmas break and that all those that celebrate Christmas received all they wished for. Sorry for my radio silence over the festive days but I had some spoilt little rugrats nipping at my ankles all weekend… and that was just my brother! I haven’t had a chance to cook or do my nails or try any new products over the past couple of days so I thought I’d give you a sneak peak into impending beauty reviews all thanks to Santa.

I was a very lucky girl this year. Every member of the family gifted me some form of cosmetic or beauty product and I now have a mountain of things to try for the first time or once again.

First up is my lovely Clinique set that my brother and sister-in-law gave me. It has a body wash, body lotion and body scrub so I’m very excited about having baby soft skin in the new year.

I received a few lovely nail products this year – not surprising if you know me.

My lovely boyfriend gave me essie’s 775 Dive Bar which is a beautiful deep teal and I’m ridiculously excited about using it.

Every girl loves a bit of Chanel and my lovely older brother gifted me Chanel’s Velvet Mat Top Coat – handy and beautiful.

My mum and dad (though my mum did all the choosing) got me Chanel’s Black Satin nail lacquer, a staple in any girls collection and Leighton Denny’s one for all – she’s trying to convert me.

I received all further products from my mum and dad and if I wasn’t so into this stuff I’d think they’re trying to tell me something.

Ojon damage reverse: shampoo, conditioner and oil. I tried Ojon a few years ago but the aroma was so strong that it made me physically sick. The new formula seems to have a milder scent so we’ll see how that goes.

Decleor Aroma Confort hand cream. I’ve tried this before and it’s lovely so I’m really excited about trying it again and writing about it.

Decleor Aromessence Neroli Essential Serum – something my mum and brother swear by and something that I’ve grown old enough to use. Though I will be accepting the maturity of my skin I shall use it with pride.

Gatineau Aquamemory, a roll on eye moisturising fluid. I’ve recently been in hospital because of problems linked to my eyes so this will hopefully relax them and make them all the healthier.

Gatineau Floracil, eye makeup remover. I have used this for years but ran out a couple months ago so I will get a refresher course and tell you all about it.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream. This is my everyday moisturiser so I’ll be able to tell you loads about it soon.

Laura Geller at long lash waterproof mascara. I have used Dior mascara since I was 17 years old so it’ll be nice to take a leap and try something new.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish – come on… you know.

So there you have my ridiculously extensive beauty gift box from Christmas and along with December’s Glossybox, I have a lot to share with you.

What beauty products did you get for Christmas? Which product would you like me to tell you about first? Leave a comment, I’d love to hear from you.
