I have a confession to make – I LOVE pandas. I have panda bags, I have panda teddies, my Twitter name (@woshixiongmao) means ‘I am a panda” and I even made up a little song about pandas when I went to San Diego Zoo which I randomly hum in the house. With this passion for the monochrome cuddle monsters, it’s no surprise that I’m really excited about the Pambassador programme in association with the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding where some lucky people will get to work with the real life, endangered pandas in their hometown. It’s probably from watching ‘Fernfully’ a lot when I was younger, or possibly with my desperate need to be Tinkerbell.
